I can't take credit for this design I borrowed it from Michael at VW Aircraft engines.
The battery was purchased from Aircraft Spruce and is a light weight Lithium ,only 3 lbs

My Aerovoltz was giving me headaches .It was out of balance and when I tried to contact the company I received no answer, via the phone or e-mail.That was enough for me to change company's.The Aerovoltz has no protection for over voltage etc.so i bought an Earth X battery.I had talked with them at Oshkosh and was impressed.
It has built in protection for over voltage ,overheating etc. with a warning light .
It would not fit where the Aerovoltz was so I moved it here.

Note the piano hinges on both sides at the front. This is so it can drop forward to get it out. This battery has a warning light (LED called for) that I have added to the panel.
