I am finally finishing my workroom in the basement.I think a clean neat room is important if you plan on spending 500+ hours there.I painted the walls and floor ,bought resin shelving at Costco,$29 per section.I put locking casters on an old steel work table that was given to me and covered it and another small steel table with GIS plywood.I'm using an old drafting table for the drawings. The work bench is only 50" long by 28" wide.It will suffice for the tail section. When I get the rest of the kit I will add 30" folding wings to the bench .Plan to bring cable into the room so I can watch hockey games this winter".Go Leafs Go"

Lightweight work table built in under 2 hours.Riveted together...of course :)

The aluminum framework for my 8' work table .Nice and lightweight so it can be easily removed from my basement when the time comes to move all the sub-assemblies to bigger quarters.Cost about $120 for the aluminum 2"x2"x 1/8"

Now to finish the stab

Still needs a lower shelf board and I put in a 5/8" MDF top 30" wide so it will go through doors without any problems.
