Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

Scott Casler's Hummel wins!

I am off the fence and now in line for a Hummel 85HP engine.
Reasons:
1) Price-For less money (about $750)than the Aerovee I will get a fully assembled, balanced and tested engine, and an extra 5 HP at takeoff.
2) I  want the ability to swing the prop should I ever have a dead battery or other electrical problem.Been there done that and it will happen again.
Sonex's refusal to offer a fully built and tested engine is a mystery to me .every other VW offering does so.
3) Nothing against the Aerovee I'm positive it's a great engine.

Step1 -Buy a Hummel
